Forms Workflow

Forms Workflow is a UI wizard for implementing business logic in the Onyx UI. It makes complex UI workflow simple to implement and manage. Unlike scripting, Forms Workflow allows for parallel processing of simultaneous steps. These steps can be assigned to different users. Individual steps in a process can also be secured so that only certain users can complete them. This makes creating and maintaining complex business processes easy.

The extensible UI component makes business processes easy to follow and helps to reduce the time and cost of training for users. Forms Workflow was built by ext.IT and Consona is a licensed reseller.

Forms Workflow Designer

  • The Forms Workflow Designer is a new design tool in OES. With it, you can create new processes. The Forms Workflow Designer allows you to add forms, datasets, process groups and definitions, step definitions and transitions.

Task Manager Processes

  • Additional Task Manager features give you the ability to filter, view and access Forms Workflow processes or steps.
  • New UCW Template form provides support for the read-only view for summary, the editable view for step, tabs for worknotes, steps, audit log and attachments, and a range of custom actions.
  • Customised UCW Controls make working with complex data more easy.

  • No External Form Editor or Coding: Once created in the designer, you can immediately launch a process and edit form(s) using UCW.
  • Built on BRM: There are no custom COM+ or .NET components, all core functionality is implemented using BRM rulesets. Datasets are exposed using BRM rulesets.
