BRM

BRM, or Business Rules Manager, is an add-on product built by ext.IT & acquired by Consona in 2008. It is a high performance rules engine designed for use by a wide range of enterprise business applications. The XML based domain specific language allows for fast, consistent implementation (50% less time) of complex and simple business rules. The rapid implementation of business rules within BRM allows for changes to your Onyx implementation in a timely manner, invaluable for environments with dynamic business processes. BRM also makes system integration easy and removes the need for coded middle tier components or business logic in stored procedures.

Forms Workflow

Forms Workflow is a UI wizard for implementing business logic in the Onyx UI. It makes complex UI workflow simple to implement and manage. Unlike scripting, Forms Workflow allows for parallel processing of simultaneous steps. These steps can be assigned to different users. Individual steps in a process can also be secured so that only certain users can complete them. This makes creating and maintaining complex business processes easy.

The extensible UI component makes business processes easy to follow and helps to reduce the time and cost of training for users. Forms Workflow was built by ext.IT and Consona is a licensed reseller.
